If you didn't have chance to visit our markets this year, or have got home and kicked yourself that you didn't buy that certain something, don't panic! Help is at hand and this week on the blog, I will introduce you to each of our directory makers and provide you with some gift inspiration in the lead up to Christmas.
Then you can either contact the maker directly through their social media pages (which you will find detailed in the directory), or pop along to any events they will be at, listed for you on their blog post.
First up, the very lovely Paula of p&d designs who joined us in Penarth and Rhiwbina this year. Paula's textile based jewellery has been very popular with shoppers again this year, and it is easy to see why. Her beautiful range is so colourful and tactile and appeals to all ages. Prices start from £10 so the range is affordable too and very high quality.
Read on to find out more about how Paula spends her Christmas.....
What is your favourite thing about Christmas? Loves/hates?
The decorations, the stollen, the pigs in blankets, the excitement on the kids faces, the songs.... I could go on & on!
How do you spend it?
Waking up at home to open stockings then getting together with the family. There's always tons of food and drink and games to play.
What's the worst Christmas present you have ever received?
Probably cellulite cream, but that was many years go when I was a lot younger and took offence, nowadays I wouldn't bat and eyelid!
Favourite Christmas song?
Has to be Maria Carey `All I want for Christmas' shameful I know.
