At Little Otter Markets, we aim to showcase creative work of the highest standard, and are always on the look out for originality and unique styles that stand makers out from the rest. One maker who has this is Alex Hughes of Stitch City. Alex's range of beautiful home accessories is influenced by her love of cartography and her stall is always popular at our events.
If you missed Alex at Rhiwbina's Handmade Market, she will be at Etsy Made Local Cardiff this weekend.
Read on to find out what Alex is working on at the moment, and what she will be up to over Christmas.
What are you working on at the moment?
I've got a couple of commissions in the works but aside from that I'm just tinkering with current product lines, hopefully i'll be able to start making some new stuff in 2019!
How do you spend Christmas?
This year my partner and I are having a quiet one at home, and then visiting family and friends in the following week.
What is your favourite thing about Christmas?
Definitely the delicious selection of food! And mulled drinks!
What's your favourite Christmas song?
Oh I don't have one really, favourite Christmas film is Muppet Christmas Carol, so perhaps some of the music in that!
